Few more days to go before the Solo Idol finals, Honiara residents are already ready for another exciting showdown on Sunday.
Likewise for the contestants, the wait will be nerve wracking to think who could be eliminated prior to the show.Solomon Idol Coordinator, Mr. Charles Ratu has sated that the grand finale show would be more enchanting compared to the other shows and with the inclusion of Former Australian Idol Competitor, Hayley Jensen, as a judge, this will indeed be a show to remember.
With regards to the young executives, he stated that "Rachael Sarei, Ritchie Saeni, Betsy Luitolo will be the three sensations competing for the first, second and third place."
Mr. Ratu mentioned that out of the six senior category competitors contesting last week, only three would be fortunate to venture into the finals.
He went on to mention that after the show, all competitors will work closely with the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children Affairs as advocates of issues relating to young people.
"We want the contestants to engage in something that is positive rather than just being idle after the contest," says Mr. Ratu.
Also included in the final showdown would be appearances from Provincial Idol competitors. There will be one representative from the Western Province, one from the Isabel Province and two from Malaita Province.
"This will help to gear them up for Solo Idol 2009," concludes Charles Ratu.
