Police Officers on night patrol will now tighten security around night club areas, following the incidents where few night club goers were attacked.
The last victim was a New Zealander who was attacked by a group of young locals outside the Aloha night club while walking with friends to catch a cab.Acting Police Commissioner, Peter Marshall condemned the attack as cowardly.
"Here we have a person who has volunteered his service for the Solomon Islands and now has returned to his home country early. This has been bad publicity for the Solomon Islands as a whole," says Acting Commissioner Marshall.
The Solomon Islands police are not leaving any stones unturned until they catch the people responsible.
