Managing Director of the Premiere Real Estate Company, Julie Gegeu Haro, last Friday, marked a special occasion in her life and business.

Last Friday was not only her province's second appointed day, but was also her 36th birthday, more than that; it marks the official launch of her business.

More than seventy invited guests turned up to the Komifera Pako Building next to Y-Sato building at Point Cruz, to witness the historic occasion.

Speaking during the occasion, on behalf of the Women in Business (WIB) group, Joyce Maetoloa said such an achievement made by Mrs Haro is something that is notable especially in part of the women who are in business in this country.

Mrs Maetoloa congratulated Mrs Haro for the fine achievement she made, and more so for being a local female to own such big company.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Employment also joined the WIB by congratulating Mrs Haro for being a local female that shows how capable women are when it comes to business.

"I am impressed with the achievements made by Mrs Haro, this achievement shows how capable women can be" the Ministry's spokesman said.

Mrs Haro's father said Julie has been a hard working girl during her high school days. He said she was the kind of girl that doesn't wait for things to happen.

"Yes, Julie was not like others who wait for things to come by, she worked hard in everything she wanted to achieve, in order to achieve it."

"The occasion (last Friday night) is an outcome of the commitment she has to succeed," her father said.

The Premiers Real Estate and Property Management which is managed by Mrs Haro is a new business that primarily aims at providing services such as property management, rental and sales of commercial and residential prosperities, rental appraisal, valuation of commercial and residential properties, business sales and other services such as security and cleaning services, consultancy services, permit and visas and also as agents for plant hire and sales to the public.

These services are offered here in Honiara and may extend to other urban centres in the country.
