The Solomon Islands Football Federation Secretariat, this morning, formally announced that it has cancelled Solomon Bonitos tour to PNG due to financial constraint.
SIFF General Secretary Eddie Ngava said it is with regret that he announced the secretariat's decision.The Solomon Bonito were schedule to leave on Monday for two friendly matches with PNG's champion club Hekari FC and the PNG National team on September 17 and 20 respectively.
Ngava said he has informed the PNG Football Association and Solomon Bonito team manager and coach of the secretariats decision.
Despite the cancellation, he urges Solomon Bonito squad to continue with their preparation in anticipation of Brisbane Wolves tour to Honiara later next month.
The Brisbane Wolves will play three friendly matches with Koloale FC and one match against Solomon Bonito.
