Customers of Our Telekom's Breeze mobile service will benefit from a reduced mobile call rate starting today - 0.99 cents per minute.
The previous call rate for Our Telekom was $1.50 per minute. This surprise announcement was made by Our Telekom's Chief Executive Officer, Loyly Ngira at a media conference late yesterday afternoon.Mr Ngira says, Our Telekom Company has been paying close attention to its clients and the reduced mobile rate is a "testament of its ongoing customer's service improvement program."
He explains that the 0.99 cents Breeze mobile to mobile call tariff signals the company's confidence in the loyalty of its growing customer base and is "a fitting reward for the company's current and future customers."
Mr Ngira says the reduced rate also places Our Telekom in a strong position in terms of both future growth and competition.
Mr Ngira also revealed that since 2009 Our Telekom has spent upwards of SB$200 million dollars improving the reach and quality of its infrastructure.
